This has been our only conquest since our inception in 1998. Our founders' (Chuck Wiltse and Mike Mikosz) combined experience in composite technology and the Corvette industry has formed a focused vision of high-technology precision-molded composite products which has allowed Motor City Mold Co to successfully bring previously cost-prohibitive exotic composites to the marketplace at affordable pricing.
In co-operation with the FRP division of Ashland Chemical Corporation, Motor City Mold Co has developed a vacuum-bag fiberglass molding process which provides a dimensionally and structurally sound carbon-fiber composite part, and consistantly produces automotive finishes of Class "A" right from the mold surface.
